VCOD stands for Victorian Council of Deaf. It was set up in 1982 as a result of the deaf community wanting an organisation that is run by deaf people representing the deaf community.

The new VCOD website was developed by Samuel Miller at Firefly Designs. It was set up in agreement that Firefly Designs would provide the framework and information for the general community in Victoria. Dennis Colbeck is currently the new website officer for VCOD and will look after all updates and maintenance.

Rachel Miers is currently the Manager and Medina Sumovic is our Administration Officer. You may direct all enquries to Medina and use the contact box above.

We currently have a lot of material and books in our storage, and we are happy to organise a book loan for you should you request any material or information from us. You can contact Medina for more information.
